What is conflict and when does it become a problem?
How do you ask for something you want or need in a way that lets others understand your needs. Many people assume that others know what they want without asking, but they cannot read your mind. They do not know what you want unless you ask.
We are more likely to see the changes we want as we value differences and learn to resolve conflict respectfully. People will resist change if they do not feel understood and valued. Being willing to address and resolve conflict opens the way for personal change and inspiring others to change.
When you communicate with feelings you listen with your heart and you speak from your heart. This is sometimes referred to as empathetic listening. Listen to the whole person:
